Fairmont State claimed the lead on day two of the WVIAC Men's Golf Championship as the Falcons fired a 303 team total. The Falcons' 36-hole total of 622 leaves them four shots ahead of West Liberty State. Ohio Valley is seven shots back at 629.
West Liberty State senior Matt Hicks owns a four-shot lead in the individual medalist after his second straight 73. His 146 total leaves him in the lead over Ohio Valley's Paul Raines. WLSC's Scott Smith is third with at 151. Fairmont State's Justin Caroli (152) and Shepherd's Chris Butler (153) complete the individual top five.
